Busy Month of May

As like most of you we too have had a busy month of May.  With three school field trips, soccer games, the start of t-ball and baseball season, dance recitals, end of year pre school concert etc... We were busy but we had a ton of fun doing it all.  I won't lie that I'm thankful life has slowed down again but like I said we had a blast! Here are a few pictures of some of the fun we had!

Jake started baseball again with his same team from last year and he's still loving it. Courtney started t-ball for the first time and I can't even express in words how cute her all girl team is. They're all so darling and definitely keep us parents laughing!!!

Courtney is so in love with her, it's darling to see them together. Photobucket Photobucket  I woke up Mother's day to this delicious breakfast. Yummy!!! Photobucket Photobucket
Courtney's been taking dance all year and has been so excited for her dance recital. She danced two dances, she was a poodle and a cow girl. Soooo cute!! Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

I was supposed to run the last leg of the ogden marathon relay but because I got pregnant we thought..why not let Jake run it?? Jake woke up early that morning and with his cousin Logan he ran the last 3 miles and did awesome. He sprinted the last few blocks and when he crossed the finish line he said he wasn't even tired. Go Jake!!! (My awesome Mom ran a half marathon and my amazing Dad ran 8 miles and my sister ran 5 miles - amazing family!!) Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket
Since Court was born I always regreted not getting her ears pierced when she was a baby. Now every time I ask her if she wants her ears pierced she says NO! But this all changed a few weeks ago when she saw her two girl cousins, Aiva and Emma with their ears pierced. We took her to Walmart and she was so brave. They only had one girl there at the time to pierce ears so Court had to do one ear at a time. Her little eyes teared up but like I said, she was so brave. After about ten minutes the pain seemed to go away and now I don't think a day goes by that she doesn't tell me how glad she is to have her ears pierced. Photobucket Jake had three field trips in the month of May. Crazy!! The last day of school we went to the Tree House for a couple of hours. I always love watching him interact with his friends and classmates. I can't believe I now have a 3rd grader living in my house.Photobucket Photobucket Courtney loved her first year of preschool. She's so sad it's over and can't wait until it starts again in the Fall. She went to Krislyn's Preschool which is right down the street from where we live, her teacher is Krislyn (my friend) and it was such a fabulous preschool, her teacher was amazing and Court learned so much. Here are pictures of their end of the year Pre School Program. Sooo cute!! Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket
Courtney has been asking for a pair of high heel shoes for FOREVER. She has two friends at church who have them and ever since she saw them she's been obsessed with them. We finally told her that if she did really well at her dance recital, looked at her teacher the whole time and smiled we'd get her a pair. Well, here she is with her new heels. She seriously cracks me up!! Photobucket Photobucket

Its a .....

BOY!!! Yes it's official, well as official as it can be from the ultrasound but yes, we're having a boy.  We took the kids to the Doctor with us. Jake and Scott were hoping for a boy, Court really wanted a girl and I was honestly ok with either.  When the Doctor said it was a boy Jake and Scott cheered but poor little Courtney's eyes filled with tears and kept asking to go home. When I was alone with her she broke down and cried her eyes out telling me how much she wanted a little girl. It was quite heart breaking and definitely brought back memories of Jake who cried when he found out he was having a sister.  Thankfully in Jake's case after a few hours he accepted that he was going to have a little sister and we never heard anything again but NOT in Courts case. It's now been a few days since we've known and a few times each day she'll still say in a very quiet and sad voice "Mom, why can't I have a sister"? I know in time she'll come around. Scott's brother just barely welcomed a little girl to their family and we have another little girl cousin coming in September so Courtney will have plenty of little baby girls in her life and I know once she meets her little brother she'll fall madly in love with him.

As for me I'm pretty excited myself.  I've kept everything of Jake's so I won't have to do a lot of shopping. What I think makes it the most exciting is seeing my husbands excitement. The other day Scott said "Sarah, I love you even more now knowing you're carrying my son".  This made me bust up laughing, he of course was completley joking, he's such a corn ball.

So that's our news but I'll admit that right now I'm feeling a little down. It's always fun waiting and finding out what we're having but now that we know and the excitement is over, I'm like "now what???"  That's when I realized the next excitement will be having the baby and I feel like that will never, ever, ever, ever come.  I feel like I've been pregnant forever and I'm not even half way through my pregnancy. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess I'll just continue taking it one day at a time.  Wish me luck!!!

Jake? Bad Luck???

Somedays I wonder about Jake's bad luck... the other day he was out riding his bike and for some crazy unknown reason his left bike petal completely fell off making him crash hard. His knee, side, hib bone and elbow were bloody and bruised. He wasn't a very happy camper until we pointed out the awesome bruises he was going to have then he perked up. He now loves showing off his awesome war wounds. But seriously have you ever heard of a bike pedal falling off- so weird???

Family Pictures

My Mom organized family pictures at the end of December when Laura and Tyson were here. It's kind of pointless to show them now because I don't even look close to what I look like in the pictures. But they at least give me hope of what I can look like again.  Lol!!  Seriously what's up with the 3rd pregnancy and the extra weight gain. Soooo not fun!!!

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket I felt bad because at the time of the photo shoot I was actually pregnant we just didn't know it. Had I known I would of made my Mom postpone the pictures until our new little baby came. I just keep telling her that will photo shop the baby sitting on my lap and no one will know the difference. Lol!!!
