We signed Courtney up to dance on the Freemont Highschool Junior Silverline dance team. She practiced Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and performed Friday night during half time at the Football game. She loved all of the practices becauce lots of her friends were also dancing. There were a ton of girls, it was hectic and crazy but a ton of fun. Definitely an adventure!
Courtney with her medal after the show. She was so proud. Don't tell Courtney but because there were so many little girls dancing and the dance was so short, Scott couldn't see her on the field. Kind of sad eh. Lol!! But he told her she did fabulous so I guess that's all that matters.
Courtney with her good friends Raini and Sydney
Here are some of the girls from our neighborhood and ward who also danced. Too cute eh!
This gives you an idea of how many little girls danced.
My camera wasn't working so I didn't get any good pictures of Court actually dancing. Here she is walking onto the field.
Looking at this picture I can't believe this blond hair, blue eyed little girl is my daughter. We don't look anything alike.
Courtney didn't want her picture taken with her Dad, the distressed face she's making makes me laugh.
She is such a dolly! How fun to for her to be able to be in dance and do this. I can't wait to be able to put Bryn in dance classes {{squeal}} ha ha.
ReplyDeleteLydia would LOOOVE Dance class. How fun. Lucky Courtney. Lydia refers to her as "my Courtney" so sweet. Give her a hug for us!!!
